Nick Groves

Director

Nick has over 35 years’ experience in the industry and has been involved in all aspects of building structure design using structural concrete (including water retaining), steelwork, timber and masonry, plus associated infrastructure.  Having started his career working on site as a tunnel engineer and then petrochemical installations, has worked in a design office environment for 30 years across a diverse range of commissions.   Projects have included most forms of steel framed structure and mixed material construction for a variety of end users, including residential, commercial, leisure and education.   More recently involved in modular construction systems and their development, both in respect of economic design and practicalities of erection.

Nick has particular experience in the appraisal of schemes and establishing cost effective solutions that can make the difference between a project proceeding or not.

Roles and Responsibilities

Nick is responsible for the overall management of the company, setting the strategic direction of the business and ensuring we have the necessary skills and resources to deliver our clients projects. Nick is also responsible for the company’s business development and marketing.
