Senior Technician

Andy is a highly competent Technician with 40 years’ experience in the industry, including management of a team of surveyors carrying out work around the globe. He has gained a wealth of knowledge working on industrial, leisure, education, retail, defence, highways, marine, heritage and rail projects.

A keen interest in BIM, Laser Scanning and Laser Aided Modelling has been the driver for Andy’s continual development over the last few years and integrating these practices into projects with both Clients and Design teams.

One of Andy’s interest is the development of UAV data collection for survey / inspection purposes and how this can be best incorporated into the Company's’ development. He has experience in procuring and managing this process on various projects and is now investigating the advantages / disadvantages of this technology and the permissions required for commercial use.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Andy’s responsibilities include the production of project information, supervising and mentoring within WFBA, liaising with Clients and other design team members on matters relating to their projects, providing assistance where necessary and required for the company’s development in both data delivery and capabilities.
